The ALSG274CS is a pyrotechnic rubber ball that is designed to deliver a high volume of CS Smoke upon
initiation and is very effective for the dispersal and control of crowds. The CS Handball utilizes a Model M201A1
fuze and discharges chemical agent for approximately 10-20 seconds. The Rubber ball form factor is ideal for
corrections/riot applications, as it reduces the potential for “throwback.”
It is recommended that the operator attend an ALS Less-Lethal Training Class prior to use of these rounds.
